X’Traseal MC-808 Colofil Sealant | Model: SIL-XMC808- Descriptions: MC-808 Confil Sealant is a one part, gun applied and water-based acrylic sealant that cures to a flexible and tough rubber with good adhesion to porous surfaces without primer. It is also a low cost and environmental friendly sealant that can be easily cleaned up with water. These dispersion acrylic sealants are far more superior if compared to other caulking compound, such as butyl mastics, oil-based mastics etc. Features: ♦ Permanently flexible ♦ One part no mixing ♦ Environmental friendly, easily clean up with water ♦ Excellent gunnability (5°c to 50°c) ♦ Good adhesion to wood, concrete and marble Specifications: Specification Details Base Acrylic latex Appearance Non-sagging paste Colour White Specific gravity 1.60 ± 0.05 Shore a hardness 30 approx. Application temp. 5°c to 50°c Service temp. -10°c to 80°c Shelf life 12 months Uses: ♦ Suitable for cargo container and cabin. ♦ General glazing: wood, concrete, marble and etc. ♦ DIY application: gutters, joints around doors and windows, skylights, air-conditioning. ♦ Energy save application: to seal air draft around air conditioner Not Recommended For: It should not be applied outdoors if it is likely to be rained upon within 2 hours of application. Not for: use in areas of constant water immersion. Not for: joint movement more than 10%. Colour: Multi-colour are available upon request. Applications: ♦ Surface must be clean and dry. ♦ Mask smooth surface to simplify clean up. ♦ Use approved back-up material in joint. ♦ Cut nozzle to desired size. ♦ Insert cartridge into caulking gun. ♦ Push sealant ahead for uniform bead. ♦ Tool within 5 minutes. ♦ Clean off excess sealant with water. Curing Time: Colifil will tack free in approximately 10 minutes and will cure to a depth of 10mm in 7-14 days. Longer curing time may be necessary in cold and high humidity area.
